These trips are for people who could happily spend hours watching the world's best golfers hit shots.

This is for people who enjoy walking a championship course, understanding the holes and seeing shots in person that television simply can't capture.

Maybe you're the golf obsessive in your fourball. Maybe your friends enjoy golf, but not quite as much as you do.

With TGT, you don't need to find nine other people to make the trip happen. We do that.

Come on your own, come with a friend or come as a small group. You'll be travelling with people who are there for the same reason you are — the golf.

The guide price is intended to give you a realistic indication of the cost of the complete TGT experience.

This is expected to include:

• Four nights’ accommodation in a quality hotel in central Windsor, with breakfast each morning

• Private transfers between Windsor and Wentworth each day

• A relaxed welcome meal on Tuesday evening

• The Gathering – our private dinner with a golf expert guest speaker

• Final casual group dinner in Windsor on Friday evening

• All other planned group transfers during the trip

• TGT hosting and support throughout

Wednesday, Thursday and Friday are deliberately built around the golf. You’ll have the full day at Wentworth, with transport taken care of and no need to worry about driving, parking or getting back to Windsor.

On Saturday morning, you check out and head home – in time to watch Moving Day and Sunday’s final round on TV, having spent three days getting to know Wentworth for yourself.

Travel to and from Windsor is not included and is arranged separately, giving you the flexibility to travel in the way that suits you best.

We’ll be happy to help with your travel planning and advise on suitable flight and transfer options to make your journey as straightforward as possible.

We recommend arriving in Windsor by 4:00pm on Tuesday, giving you plenty of time to check in, unpack and relax before meeting the group for our casual welcome meal.

Think of 6:00pm as our first tee time. That’s when the TGT experience begins, and we ask everyone to be ready to join the group from the start.

From there, the hosting, planned itinerary and daily private transport to and from Wentworth are taken care of.

You get to Windsor. We’ll take it from there.

Not at all. In fact, we expect many guests to travel solo.

TGT trips are deliberately limited to small groups, with a maximum of 10 guests on the proposed first trip.

Come alone, with a partner, a friend or as part of a small group. You don't need to persuade an entire fourball to come with you.

We'll bring the group together. Golf gives everyone something in common from the start.

The Gathering is a signature part of what we are offering.

One evening, we'll sit down together over dinner with a guest from the world of golf — perhaps a pro from the area, a caddie, coach, journalist or someone with a unique insight into the tournament we're watching.

Good food, good conversation and the chance to hear about the game from someone who knows it from the inside.

This will be included in the price.

Absolutely not — although you'll be in good company if you are.

You don't need to play golf, know every player or spend your weekends studying leaderboards. You simply need to enjoy watching great golf and like the idea of experiencing a professional tournament up close.

Enthusiasm for the game is more important than your handicap!

No. How you watch the golf is entirely up to you.

Some guests may want to spend the day together. Others may want to head off alone, follow a particular player or spend three hours sitting beside one favourite hole.

Personally, I like to use pro am / practice day to walk the entire course and really get to know it. During tournament rounds I'll usually mix following groups with spending time at favourite holes.

We'll travel to and from the course together, but once we're inside, the day is yours.

And there will always be someone to meet afterwards to chat about what you just watched.

This is deliberate.

TGT is about watching golf properly, and one of the best times to experience a professional tournament is before the cut. Thursday and Friday are great days to watch golf.

We start with practice day, when you can walk the course, learn the holes and watch the players preparing in a more relaxed environment. We then stay for Thursday and Friday, experiencing the first two competitive rounds.

By the weekend we're home to watch the final round on TV. Having walked the course and got to know the holes, you'll watch it with a completely different perspective.

No. The golf comes first.

There will be meals together and plenty of opportunity to socialise, but there is no expectation to drink or stay out late.

Personally, when I'm at a tournament I choose not to drink — I want to enjoy the golf fully and be ready to do it all again the next morning.

If you want to have a drink, that's absolutely fine. If you'd rather be in bed by 10, that's absolutely fine too.

Ten is small enough for everyone to get to know one another, sit around one dinner table and travel comfortably together — while still being large enough to create a great group atmosphere.

Small groups are fundamental to how we want TGT trips to feel.

We plan to stay in a good-quality 4-star hotel, chosen for comfort, location and convenience rather than unnecessary luxury.

The aim is somewhere you can relax after a full day at the golf, with breakfast included.

We endeavour to book hotels that have amenities within walking distance rather than hotels that are out of town.

The exact hotel will be confirmed before bookings are taken.

For us, it's about being there for the golf and appreciating the course.

Walking the course. Getting to know the holes. Following players. Finding a favourite spot and watching the world's best hit shots you simply can't appreciate in the same way on television.

We love a great atmosphere, but TGT isn't about shouting “mashed potato” after a tee shot or spending the day at a party hole. It's about respecting the players, respecting the game and actually watching the golf.

That's what we mean by Watch Golf Properly.
